> = slide quickly after a pluck (the plucked note is NOT actually part of the melody)
_ = slide to next note (both notes are essential to the melody)
‘ = note is plucked after _ slide
/ = quick transitional slide to next note, which is plucked
: = hammer-ons/pull-offs
^ = harmonics
~ = vibrato
C D F G A c d represent the 7 open string notes
G(3) = G note on 3rd string
m(3) = mute 3rd string
[1] = section 1 of song
